Yes, this blog had previous posts. Yes, they’ve been scrapped. I was using this blog previously as some sort of online diary, I guess. So I had been keeping it anonymous. I’m just scrapping that and starting over – if I can’t even stop caring what people think online, how am I ever to reach that point in person?
I’m a 19-year-old geeky Christian college girl. I’m studying computer programming (you did hear me say geeky, right?) currently. When I’m not in school, or at work, I’ll typically be found gaming, watching anime, or reading (be that manga, graphic novels, novels, comics…). As of lately, that list may also include origami, coloring, and puzzles (atypical for 19, I know, but my mind goes AWOL without downtime). I’ve finally coined myself as an INFJ, and am incredibly happy about that insight as it’s allowed a lot of my understanding of why I am how I am, and what makes me tick, fall into place.
I’m not committing to any level of regularity, consistency, or normalcy with this blog. It may be some deep, political ramble one day, me venting over something I saw in anime the next, and a poem the day after that. I just want some way to look back over my own thoughts and retelling of memories in future – and this is faster (not to mention tidier) than pen and paper (not that I don’t use those, as well, from time to time).
So, here’s to a 2016 – a whole new year of possibilities.
I feel the need to quote Bilbo Baggins here: “You step into the Road, and if you don’t keep your feet, there is no knowing where you might be swept off to.”
